Psalm 46:10 tells us to be still and know that He is God. At Ancient Way Farm we desire to create an environment to know Him in a deeper way. This means being still. This means being present. This means we are a technology free (or very limited) area.
We believe that the life of the soul is a slow growth. In order to grow, we will slow our pace for a bit to pay attention. This will help us to be able to see with the eyes of our heart. We need help with this. Turning off our phones and computers will play a big role in slowing us down. Being in creation will do that for us as well*. That is why we have chosen this location. Our inviting cabin is located with a beautiful pond view in the center of His creation.
We will also have opportunities to get outside and be in Creation. This is real therapy. Away from the desk. Away from the emails. Away from the distractions. Finally, a chance to quiet ourselves and open our eyes and heart to all He would have for us.
*There is a lot of medical and scientific evidence for the health benefits of being outside. It’s easy to Google these publications.

Here’s what I want you to do...
“Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace." - Matthew 6:6
